Job Summary

Responsible for senior level professional financial accounting. May serve as subject matter expert in a specialized area. Solves complex problems. 

Job Duties:

• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of accounts receivable and recording revenue journal entries
• Responsible for managing one or more fiscal and accounting functions and for formulating and recommending policies and procedures to effectively administer such programs.
• Formulates and recommends policies, procedures, and control systems.
• Ensures compliance with federal, and state regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Prepares, reviews, and analyzes a variety of reports, accounts, reconciliations, statements to and from internal departments, financial institutions, and external agencies. 
• Improve systems and processes and initiate corrective action

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting 
• 3 - 5 years accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, accounting software and databases
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, project management and communication skills

• Cpa Certification Preferred

• Hands-On: Must be willing and have the ability to participate in an early stage growth environment where it is required to “roll sleeves up” to tackle certain issues where bandwidth and/or skills of the team needs hands-on support of leaders.
• Emotional Strength: Must have the ability to hear and support other leaders’ ideas and initiatives regardless of involvement without feeling others ideas aren't valid, or feeling left out.
