We’re looking for a Solution Consultant to lead and scale our technical sales efforts in the Japanese market for Cloud Protection for Salesforce (CPSF) – a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS business within WithSecure™.
This role will serve as the technical counterpart to our sales teams, working across both pre-sales and post-sales activities to deliver value to prospects and customers. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, enabling them to translate business challenges into practical technical solutions.
What You’Ll Do
- Partner with the sales team as the primary technical resource during the sales cycle.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements.
- Design and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate solution fit.
- Build trust with stakeholders by clearly articulating technical capabilities and business value.
- Oversee technical onboarding and solution implementation for new customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor through ongoing technical business reviews, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with support and engineering teams.
- Drive customer success by ensuring adoption, satisfaction, and long-term value realization.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., solution consulting, pre-sales engineering, customer success engineering, or similar).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of enterprise IT environments (e.g., networking, cloud platforms, security solutions, APIs). Strong preference for experience with Salesforce.
- Business Acumen: Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Languages: Fluent in Japanese (native or near-native level) and strong proficiency in English.
