We are looking for an experienced Investigation Manager within Crime Detection to design and implement comprehensive strategies aimed at mitigating risks associated with theft, fraud, and other losses. In this role, you will lead a team of Store Detectives and collaborate across departments to protect company assets and enhance profitability.
About The Role
The Investigation Manager will develop crime detection and prevention strategies and procedures, conducting regular risk assessments and operational procedure reviews. This role is responsible for identifying crime and implementing active operations to minimise the loss of merchandise, money, or company assets, as well as developing and delivering a crime detection training programme for colleagues across the business.
This role will drive intelligence gathering and communicate the same to both internal and external stakeholders through data reporting. The Investigation Manager will have a wide range of stakeholders – liaising with and providing support to all levels of colleagues across the business (staff, managers, and directors), as well as have external contacts with the police and public on day-to-day security matters.
About You
You will have extensive knowledge of crime detection and prevention strategies and procedures. As a leader who prioritises people, you engage effectively with your team and foster their growth and performance. Your strong organisational skills ensure efficient time management and priority setting.
You Will Also:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have exceptional attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
- Have the ability to deliver exceptional and expert service while collaborating with various teams throughout the business
- Be able to interact with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
- Be able to analyse large amounts of data and present insights
- Be an expert decision maker, confident to assess risk and protect the business from theft, fraud or any other losses
