Responsibilities:
- Manages the purchase order process by sourcing approved goods/services from nominated vendors
- Identifies supply chain continuous improvement opportunities
- Manages inventory of specific raw materials and determines appropriate replenishment schedules
- Develops and support the development of strategies
- Communicates and cultivates relationships with suppliers
- Develops, improves, standardizes and implements documents
- Maintains the integrity data in all systems
- Updates and maintains purchase order information.
- Coordinates review meetings with multiple functions
- Coordinates with Purchasing for production component ordering
- Coordinates with Warehouse to identify space requirements
- Coordinates with customer service to ensure customer/item set-up
- Coordinates with corporate supply chain for pricing set-up
- Coordinate with Finance and Marketing when corrections/adjustments are required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Warehouse, Customer Service).
- Strong understanding of purchase order processes and vendor sourcing.
- Knowledge of inventory management and replenishment strategies.
- Ability to identify and implement supply chain improvement opportunities.
- Proficient in ERP systems and data integrity management (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
