Our growing team is looking for a Marketing Website Senior UX Designer.

About The Job:

At Intact, we’re on a mission to shape exceptional digital experiences that serve as visitors’ first impression of our brands. We are seeking a versatile Senior Marketing UX Website Designer to join our intact.ca squad, where you’ll play a crucial role in engaging anonymous visitors and guiding them through their journey by initiating online insurance quotes. Collaborating closely with our product owners, designers, and growth team (including CRO and SEO specialists), you will craft human-centered web experiences that are informative and delightful, driving engagement and conversion.

What You'Ll Do Here:

  • Strategic Contribution: Participate in strategic planning and roadmap definition alongside product owners and agile multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment of design initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Human-Centered Design: Craft experiences that resonate with users and support business objectives. Leverage consumer insights to design intuitive and functional digital experiences tailored to our marketing goals.
  • Innovation and Problem Solving: Utilize design thinking methodologies to explore creative solutions, leading brainstorming sessions that challenge norms and drive innovation across user journeys.
  • Research-Informed Solutions: Conduct both qualitative and quantitative UX research to gather insights on user behavior and preferences. Translate findings into actionable design solutions, effectively communicating rationale and strategies.
  • User Flow Optimization: Analyze user journeys to identify friction points, develop solutions that streamline navigation, and create intuitive pathways that enhance user satisfaction and ease of use.
  • Design System and Process Structuring: Champion the refinement and implementation of design processes and systems, enhancing brand consistency and elevating design practices.
  • Design and Implementation: Lead the design process for seamless integration into development workflows, ensuring all design aspects are ready, detailed, and align with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with growth and cross-functional teams to ensure design objectives align with CRO and SEO strategies, harnessing data to drive visitor conversion and engagement. Present creative design concepts to stakeholders for input and validation.

What you bring to the table:

  • UX Expertise: Minimum of 5 years in UX design with a strong focus on usability and user-centered design practices, proven through successful improvement of marketing website performance.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to connect design decisions with quantitative data and qualitative insights and effectively communicate rationale and design strategy to stakeholders.
  • Tool Proficiency: Mastery of design tools such as Figma, MIRO, and UX research tools (e.g., usertesting.com).
  • Process and System Development: Experience in building and refining design processes and systems, ensuring deliverables are both efficient and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Growth-focused Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams in marketing environments prioritizing growth metrics and user engagement strategies.
  • Creative Thinking: Adaptive and open-minded, ready to tackle challenges that require innovative thinking and strategic foresight. Passion for crafting quality, data-driven designs.
  • Autonomy and Team Player: Organized, proactive, and deeply passionate about design and quality. Enjoys working in a collaborative atmosphere, sharing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
