Job Purpose or Objective(s):   The Center Manager 2 implements program philosophies and guidelines in the Child Development Centers (CDC) ensuring a courteous, caring, professional, service-oriented environment for the children.

Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Primary Tasks:

  1. Create schedules for staff, fill in for absent teachers; monitor staff performance and communicate and expectations, policies, and procedures. 
  2. Manage billing records and licensing paperwork to ensure the center is following USDA, DHS and EHS regulations.
  3. Identify developmental needs of children, professional needs of staff members, and support needs of families and act in accordance to meet those needs as best as possible within confines of authority and program guidelines.
  4. Plan, supervise, and implement the programs in accordance with the policies, licensing, and philosophy of the program.
  5. Ensure monthly reports are completed properly and in a timely manner and submitted to the appropriate persons.
  6. Maintain records with appropriate, up to date, required papers and documentation in accordance with licensing regulations.
  7. Conduct parent/teacher conferences, staff meetings, attend director’s meetings, and attend training and conferences or professional organizations appropriate for child development centers.
  8. Produce monthly newsletter and plan field trips or community projects.
  9. Perform other duties as may be assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Must obtain a bus driving certificate and CDL within first 90 days of employment
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess and maintain bronze level in accordance with Appendix L-2, Oklahoma Director’s Credential
  • Four (4) years’ experience in in child development or early childhood education
