Intern - Mobile Application Development (Summer 2026)

The Temetra Mobile team is looking for a 2026 Summer Intern. Temetra is Itron’s next-generation mobile meter data collection and management solution, providing our customers with new ways to optimize their operations and improve engagement. This intern will support feature integrations that assist our customers in transitioning to Temetra Mobile.

Duration

40 hours per week during summer 2026. The target start is May/June, and the internship concludes August/September, depending on student’s academic schedule.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Temetra Mobile team in feature development and implementation by writing automated tests (unit/UI) and testing features
• Assist with review and triage of issues coming from the customer support team
• Further develop understanding of .Net MAUI (Microsoft framework)
• Work in Visual Studio to collaboratively build software
• Partner with core team in Liberty Lake on a daily basis and with global team on a weekly basis

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of college-level coursework (Computer Science, Software Development or related)
• Familiarity with cross-platform development; interest in building with .NET MAUI targeting Android, iOS, and Windows
• Foundational experience with C#, XAML, and SQL (coursework or projects)
• Experience using Git or other version control systems
• Willingness to learn quickly
• Professional workplace communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Intermediate experience with JavaScript
• Foundational knowledge of Azure DevOps

This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

This position will be onsite and tied to our Liberty Lake, WA location.

Liberty Lake, WA: $15.87 - $44.23 per hour
