As part of Sleep Country Canada’s portfolio of industry-leading sleep brands, Hush continues to expand its innovative product lineup and push the boundaries of sleep technology and we are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing to support those efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing brand campaign initiatives that increase brand awareness and ensuring brand tone and manner is consistent across all creative assets. You will be the creative gate keeper ensuring all communications ladders back up to the business and brand objectives; while coaching and managing creative team resources.
This role is perfectly suited to a candidate that has worked directly with creative teams in an agency or similar environment, as well as client-side experience to understand stakeholder management within a retail or DTC organization.
In this role you will do:
- Brand Strategy & Execution: Manage and evolve brand strategy reporting into VP, Business Development. Translate strategy into 360° marketing campaigns that drive results.
- Campaign Management: Lead the development and execution of integrated brand campaigns from concept to launch—including messaging, creative development, and performance tracking.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, PR, digital, and product teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling across all customer touchpoints.
- Events & Activations: Work with internal and agencies on in-person events, brand activations.
- Partnerships & Sponsorships: Identify and manage brand partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer collaborations that align with Hush’s strategic positioning.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets, timelines, and agency partners to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on brand.
- Brand Governance: Champion brand guidelines and ensure consistency across internal and external communications.
Qualifications We Like To See:
- High Emotional Intelligence; who likes to have fun and work hard.
- 7+ years of brand marketing experience, ideally in agency, retail, or ecommerce.
- Proven ability to lead creative teams and integrated campaigns that drive brand and business results.
- Strong strategic thinker with creative instincts and an eye for detail.
- Strong communicator and collaborator who can rally teams and agencies around a shared vision.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort interpreting performance metrics and consumer insights.
- A small brand disruptor mind set – being resourceful with limited expenditure.
