The Role
Are you a passionate musician who loves to share your skills and bring people together through music? We’re looking for an experienced and committed music tutor to teach range of creative and inspiring courses for adults.
What you’ll teach (one or more of the subjects below or similar)
- Songwriting and composition
- Drumming workshops
- Collaborative sounds
- Rhythm and grooves
Each course runs for 11 weeks per term, with weekly 2-hour sessions, delivered to groups of ten adult learners at the Brockley Rise Centre. Delivery days/times will be arranged based on your availability.
Who You’Ll Teach
You will be teaching adults with mental health conditions or additional learning support needs within mixed ability groups, from complete beginners to returning learners who want to build on past experience.

We’Re Looking For Someone Who:
- has a strong background in music tuition across a range of styles and group settings
- has experience (or willingness to develop skills) in supporting adults with additional needs
- has a patient, inclusive, and flexible teaching approach and is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging sessions
- brings creativity, patience and energy to every session
- enjoys making music accessible to all abilities
- wants to make a real difference to others through music.
