About The Opportunity
The Senior Manager Case Management and Remediation is an integral member of the Workplace Compliance and Policy leadership team. This role is responsible for the effective end to end management of potential underpayment enquiries and related claims processes, and for providing comprehensive insight and analysis to the applicable senior leaders. The Senior Manager Case Management and Remediation will lead a team responsible for the analysis, identification and remediation of underpayment claims.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- initially assist in establishing a team of case and claims officers and refining ways of working for the team
- provide strong leadership and direction to a newly established team to ensure adoption of best practice in claims management, remediation and resolution
- contribute to the broader strategic management of Workplace Relations and Compliance
- lead, contribute to, establish and implement Workplace Compliance and Policy strategy and direction with a focus on investigation and remediation
- ensure all staff investigation and remediation practices related to staffing comply with applicable University polices, legislation, Enterprise Agreement, workplace regulations, and internal University policies
- utilise your independent judgement and ability to identify the cause and appropriate resolution of a diverse range of issues and problems
- own the accountability for claim resolution and remediations being triaged, reviewed and resolved within agreed timeframes
- apply a continuous improvement mindset to ensure that systemic issues are identified and resolved in consultation.
About You
- undergraduate/postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- proven expertise in conducting investigations within complex regulatory and policy frameworks
- demonstrable analytical and reporting skills
- strong track record of influencing and engaging senior leadership
- skilled in preliminary assessments and workplace investigations, particularly related to compliance with industrial instruments
- experience managing end-to-end enquiries, claims, and complex historical investigations, including designing and implementing remediation methodologies
- demonstrated project and case management capabilities, with the ability to develop, communicate, and execute resolution strategies
- some leadership experience, including team management and performance development.
