The Microelectronics, Design, and Applications (MDA) organization is seeking a Staff Factory Change Control Board Engineer to join our team and pioneer new approaches, design and implement technologies for a computer integrated manufacturing system. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Staff Factory Change Control Board Systems Engineer. This position is located at the Linthicum, MD location.
What You’Ll Get To Do:
- Develop and implement a change control and execution procedure for a semiconductor manufacturing line
- Collaborate with statisticians, process engineers, integration engineers and equipment engineers to evaluate changes to the manufacturing line
- Support definition of system requirements for use in evaluating COTS product lifecycle management software
- Assist in developing and implementing FMEA process
- Oversee the change evaluation and implementation process
Basic Qualifications for Staff Factory Change Control Board Systems Engineer:
- A degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with a minimum of 12 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience with a master’s degree, or 8 years of experience with a PhD.
- Subject Matter Expert in semiconductor manufacturing, device physics, or semiconductor failure analysis.
- Able to support execution of Statement of Work (SOW) components with vendors and work cross team
- Experience in high volume automated manufacturing microelectronics or semiconductor fabs
- Experience working with FMEAs, PLM, QMS, and Document Management Software
- Experience with supplier engagement and facilitation of supplier development and risk reduction activities
- Must be willing to work on site 100% of time
- Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance per business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active US government security clearance per business requirements
- Strong understanding of FMEA and Change Management systems.
- Experience developing new FMEA processes and implementing change based on RPN scoring.
- Has worked with Applied Materials SmartFactory Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) solution.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software tools, i.e. Atlassian tools stack - Jira, Confluence.
