The role is an accounting role supporting PBT's Services Business. Main responsibilities include preparing monthly Services by Site P&L, raising Services invoices, reconciling provider costs to Service Center Activities to ensure accurate billing to customers, reconciling fleet assets in Asset Management System and SAP and interaction with both Finance and wider business.
Our Role
• To raise services invoices on SAP ensuring amounts invoiced are consistent with activity recorded on Pro Envision
• To reconcile EMEA / Asia service center purchase orders to invoiced amounts from providers
• To work closely with the services team to ensure that Pro Envision correctly reflects the usable fleet in the business
• To reconcile fleet movements during the month from Pro Envision to recorded activity / invoiced values
• Where necessary, to adjust on SAP fleet values to ensure consistency with Pro Envision
• To report on stock in service centers ensuring levels look consistent with business activity
• To produce reports for the monthly service center review calls
• To develop, with the regional controller, more granular reporting, leveraging the information on SAC to better explain service center reporting
• Completion of some monthly balance sheet reconciliations uploaded onto Blackline.
• To calculate and agree with service center management monthly accruals for EMEA service centers
• Assist with purchase ledger and GRIR clearance work as required for services related invoices
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process for services
• Assisting with external audit work, providing supporting documentation as directed
• Preparation of analysis to answer ad hoc queries
• Assisting in responding to Office of National Statistics surveys
• Participate in continued process improvement initiatives, working closely with other parts of the business on process developments.
What you will need to be successful
• Qualified with recognized professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with a large ERP system - SAP desirable
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
