The Director of Projects and Services is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Projects and Services organization in the DACH region. This person will need to implement the strategy per European guidelines and define and build the annual operating budgets.
Additionally, the individual will ensure the necessary capacities and skills for the effective execution of projects and maintenance activities. They will define and implement the personnel and material resources, as well as the means required to achieve the objectives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- To work with the regional and local management teams to implement the SYSS strategic plan, taking into account regional and WA objectives.
- To develop annual operating plans to provide implementation capacity and ensure delivery in accordance with customers' requirements and Emerson business objectives, in conjunction with regional and country Sales leadership
- To be an integral part of the regional management team to ensure alignment with all functional groups and local administrative requirements.
- Within the region, develop industry-centric capabilities to increase customer alignment with Emerson's domain expertise. Leverage resources and management teams across the region, enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction.
- To participate in the development of European operations initiatives and ensure deployment and adoption within the region.
- To drive and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation that engages employees in the success of the company.
- To leverage the capabilities of the European and Global Centers of Excellence to enhance the performance and cost efficiency of the organization in the region.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., business, communications, automation).
- Demonstrated experience in the automation industry with broad technical knowledge of different industry segments (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharma, Energy etc).
- Demonstrated ability in operational management roles, minimum of 10 years.
- Proficiency in English for making presentations, negotiating, and interacting in daily written and verbal communication.
- Strong customer interfacing skills and commercial savvy.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Additional education in business administration, operations, or project management is considered a plus.
- Extensive understanding and experience of business drivers in Project Management.
- Familiarity with service management and service excellence.
- Consistent record of effective leadership and line management.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment within a sophisticated matrix organization.
