At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we are seeking an EMEA Portfolio and Alliance Lead - Precision Medicine (PM) for our EMEA Strategy & Operations Organisation (ESO).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop portfolio level Precision Medicine (PM) strategy to ensure synergies across brands are leveraged (organizational readiness, external engagement)
- Develop external partnership strategy (Dx companies, EQA providers, scientific societies, policy stakeholders) in collaboration with Global BD and global Commercial Partnerships function
- Drive implementation of partnerships in brand strategies at EMEA Strategy & Operations regional team and local level and act as the Regional point of contact for those partnerships
- Champion market developments for biomarker testing, new technologies, IVDR impact and advise the IBVTs (cross functional commercial team) and leadership teams
- Liaise and coordinate with global PM team at Portfolio level (interface with VP PM, R&D and Global Business Development and GRA)
- Lead EMEA PM network for a community of practice / best practice sharing, and coordinate with the brands for consistency, prioritization and brand level discussions, and catalyse local implementation, GTM (PM Leads + BUDs) & identify initiatives to scale (across countries or across Therapeutic Areas)
- Ensure launch excellence milestones are met for & coordinate this with IBVTs & OpCos PM leads
- Drive internal capability building and advocacy with support from Global PM team
- Is responsible for developing and managing above-brand precision medicine business plan and budget
- HCC/Legal/Quality frameworks with regards to external partnerships for PM, especially support countries towards DSP and labs selection (quality, logistics & contracts sharing).
- Act as internal and external thought leader and advise all leadership teams on Portfolio-level PM strategy
- Attendance at key conferences in line with external engagement strategy
- Work closely with GA&P & Communications to support portfolio goals (EU-level policy shaping, access to testing, thought leadership)
Key Requirements
- This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- A post-graduate degree (e.g. MBA, MA, MS) is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of cross functional experience in leadership roles with at least 5 years of Precision Medicine & Diagnostics experience is required
- Consistent track record of experience working with cross-functional teams on complex or ambiguous issues autonomously, with little/no daily direction.
- Knowledge of the Oncology area would be an advantage and is preferred.
- Clear track record working with international Key Opinion Leaders and external stakeholders, existing personal network is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strong culture of growth mindset, high performance expectations and create an environment of testing and learning (innovation).
- Strong communication and leadership skills consistent with the J&J Leadership Imperatives (Connect / Shape / Deliver / Lead).
EMEA Location: the role is expected to be located in the current country of residence, with local hosting available at a J&J Commercial Innovative Medicine office. Please note that we do not offer relocation for this position.
