The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €2,786.10 (14 times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on job-related prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.

What To Expect
- Research, for yourself and others: You will be supporting publishing activities, conducting surveys, and carrying out research of practical relevance with cooperation partners and companies.
- Writing a dissertation: You will be investigating your research topic and spending a third of your working hours on writing your dissertation.
- Conduct and supervise teaching: You will be planning and teaching courses and doing your part in holding exams and evaluations
- Student support: You will be available to answer students’ questions, provide feedback on seminar papers, and act as a co-advisor for bachelor’s theses
- Teamwork: At the institute, you will be working to advance research in your field together with a team of engaged and experienced researchers.
- Performing organizational and administrative tasks: You will be collaborating in the organization of teaching and will be taking on supporting tasks in the administration of research
- Building up a personal network: You will be using the pre-doc phase to create your own professional network for the future
What You Have To Offer
- Academic degree: You hold a diploma/master’s degree in Management, Psychology, or Sociology qualifying you for enrollment in a doctoral program at WU.
- Advanced content expertise: You possess solid knowledge of (in)equality, diversity, and inclusion in organizations, complemented by a strong foundation in international management and a good overview of multi-level and multi-actor perspectives.
- Advanced research skills: You have very good knowledge of qualitative research methods, particularly ethnographic, discourse, and interview analysis. You are experienced in using related software such as MAXQDA, NVivo, or ATLAS.ti. Your excellent research skills are evidenced, for example, by a strong master’s thesis.
- International experience: You can prove that you gained international experience during your degree program and speak excellent English and German.
- IT skills: You are familiar with main software applications (such as MS Office).
- Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods: You are prepared to use multimedia teaching and learning formats.
- Working style: You work independently, show initiative, and have good self-organization skills.
