Associate Principal - SAP

ROLE DESCRIPTIONThe SAP HANA Senior Consultant is a critical role, responsible for developments covering all aspects of development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation and support for existing SAP Hana EDW objects and applications in a project.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Architecting, designing and helping implement custom solutions in SAP HANA, successfully in customer organizations. Liaising with Customer, Solution Architect, Functional Consultants and Technical peers to achieve project goals within expected timelines.  Provide SME support for business requirements across projects. Mentoring Junior Team members within the Organization. Drive and Assist with building Assets and Supply Chain Analytic solutions within Analytics Practice. Build repository of custom development implemented by Bristlecone for unique business requirements. Conduct trainings within Practice to build competency.  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 8 plus years of SAP HANA Native Development and at least 3 years in Data warehousing, Data Modelling, SQL, XSJS, Node.js experience. At least 3 end to end SAP HANA implementations. SAP HANA Certification would be an added advantage
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE Good level of understanding of Data Warehousing concepts Expertise in Data Modelling, SQL, Stored Procedures Expertise in building Calculation views, Table Functions, Analytic Privileges, HDB Grants, HDB Tables, UDF Functions Good experience in working on XS Classic and XS Advance modelling scenarios. Good experience in SAP Web IDE, MTA, HDI Containers, Roles, Grants, MTA service configurations for Cross container access scenarios Good experience in Optimization and trouble-shooting performance of Hana Calculation views and SQL queries Good level of understanding of SAP HANA Live, SDA, SLT replication Good level of understanding of SAP modules related to SAP SCM with expertise in at least 2 modules across SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, QM, DP, CRM, etc. Ability to architect an end to end solution while understanding the sources and end business use cases. Ability to work on complex development scenarios independently along with writing technical specifications and clear documentation of solution. Ability to propose multiple workable solutions as per best practices Good understanding of XS Jobs scheduling in Hana. Ability to handle Customer demos, Trainings, KT Sessions Experience in interacting with functional developers to provide daily operational support as well as solution implementation for enhancements and projects Worked on performing Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing and Supporting UAT and Bug fixing of code and post go live support Exposure of Client discussions, Incident Resolution, Root Cause Analysis, New Development, CR Estimation, Solution Proposal Good to have experience in SAP BO Webi, SAP BO Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics for Cloud.
