Senior Frontend Engineer

We are building a new offshore engineering team and are looking for a Frontend Team Lead who is not only technically strong but also experienced in leading and mentoring developers.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of the frontend architecture, guide junior engineers, apply best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

You will play a key role in defining the culture, processes, and technical direction of the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable, production-ready web applications using React, Tailwind, and modern frontend technologies.
• Own the architecture and technical direction of the frontend stack, ensuring performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Guide the team in implementing best practices for testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and prevent complex issues across the frontend and backend stack.
• Stay up to date with frontend trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Requisitos

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and UI/UX principles.
• Experience integrating with backends, APIs, and data architectures.
• Proven ability to lead teams, conduct code reviews, and make technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills: able to collaborate across teams and clearly explain complex concepts.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Node.js, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
