Schedule And Compensation

  • Schedule: The work schedule will be finalized but will operate within Eastern Time (ET) business hours. We are committed to finding a schedule that works for both you and our agency needs.
  • Compensation: Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.

The Role: What You'Ll Do

You will be the creative force driving our social media presence, primarily focused on Instagram and Facebook. Your main goal will be to create content that educates our community about insurance, highlights our local presence, and builds trust in our agency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Produce and publish a minimum of 3 high-quality Reels/posts per week. Content should be fresh, engaging, relevant to our local market, and aligned with State Farm brand guidelines (training on this will be provided).
  • Strategy & Planning: Collaborate on a social media calendar to ensure consistent posting and strategic campaign execution.
  • Engagement: Monitor comments and direct messages, engaging with our audience to foster a community and answer general inquiries (non-sales/policy-specific).
  • Local Focus: Create content that resonates with the Seattle community, focusing on local events, weather, and community involvement.

What We'Re Looking For

  • Proven Social Media Expertise: You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create engaging, high-performing video (Reels/TikToks) and static content (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  • Creative Mindset: You are constantly seeking new trends, sounds, and content formats to apply to a professional brand.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong writing and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Self-Starter: You are organized, reliable, and can manage your own workflow to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Seattle area is a bonus!
