Senior Manager - TC

Key Responsibilities:

• • Conduct comprehensive Purchase Requisition (PR) reviews to ensure alignment with project specifications and budgetary requirements.
• • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for Capex, Opex, bulk materials, and services to meet operational needs.
• • Prepare and finalize contracts and order placements, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• • Manage procurement through rate contracts to achieve cost efficiency and operational reliability.
• • Oversee post-order management, including delivery tracking, quality assurance, and payment processing.
• • Identify, onboard, and manage supplier/vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• • Monitor and evaluate supplier/vendor performance using key metrics and analytics.
• • Foster supplier/vendor engagement to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
• • Utilize data analytics tools to identify procurement trends, optimize sourcing strategies, and mitigate risks.
• • Implement risk management practices to address supply chain vulnerabilities and ensure business continuity.
• Required Qualifications & Experience
• • Proven experience of 15+ years in techno-commercial roles within the thermal power or energy sector.
• • Expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor management for large-scale projects.
• • Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
• Educational Background
• • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or equivalent.
• • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management or Operations (preferred).
