HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Branch Manager in Norco, LA to join their safety conscious team! This team member will be responsible for managing all aspects of a branch typically for a single business unit (but could include multiple smaller locations). Fosters and develops a branch culture aligned with the Company's Health & Safety objectives by proactively managing and implementing policies, programs, initiatives and safe work practices. Increases revenue and profitability by leveraging business opportunities to grow sales; responsible for customer service and customer relationships to promote growth; foster and create optimal conditions to facilitate strong individual and team performance. Leads, manages and develops a high performing team. Fosters a winning culture; translates strategies into actionable plans; ensures team is engaged, resilient, embraces change, and is committed to achieving results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Direct and optimize the utilization of personnel, equipment, tools and inventory to fulfil customer commitments and contracts. Actively manage maintenance, inventory, tools and equipment to ensure availability as/when required.
- Lead and manage branch team - hire, coach, develop and actively manage team members. Monitor and forecast resource requirements; partner with HR team and other stakeholders. Identify high potential talent, and opportunities for growth, succession and development; ensure all employees have required competencies/training/certification to safely execute scope of work; manage performance and ensure documentation is prepared/maintained/safeguarded.
- Establish and maintain effective communications with internal and external clients and stakeholders; partner with employees and internal departments to analyze and document project-scope, prepare quotes, review and prepare bid documents and help with the closing of contracts
- Develop and manage BU budget and business plan; prepare budget, business reports and forecasts; ensure records and information are maintained/managed/safeguarded and that processes are in place to ensure due diligence and compliance with policy.
- Monitor and actively manage branch performance - KPI's, safety metrics, incidents, new business prospects, revenue achievement, regulatory compliance, etc. Partner with functional managers (ie Finance, Safety, HR, Transportation Compliance) and stakeholders to manage and address business issues and challenges (revenue recording, collection, billing, performance, compliance, etc).
- Analyze (relevant) market and forecast utilization and pricing, to market service offerings and ensure ongoing growth and development of operational activities within the territory of responsibility
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers; identify and issues in a timely fashion. Utilize a mutual gains approach to ensuring all contractual commitments are met, without sacrificing or compromising future opportunities for retention/growth.
- Gather and monitor competitive intelligence; provide information and recommendations to senior leadership team.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Environmental Science/Engineering/Related; Required
- Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- 7+ years industrial cleaning experience of which 5 have been served in a management capacity.
- Experience in the applicable utilization of standard/specialized industrial cleaning equipment.
- First Aid and CPR Required
- Valid Drivers License Required
