HHW Pricing | Job Description Summary: The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Pricing Specialist is primarily responsible for providing market-based pricing for HHW requests for bid (RFB), requests for proposals (RFP), and invitations to bid (ITB), and will ensure that pricing reflects the Company's financial goals and pricing strategies. The HHW Pricing Specialist is also responsible for creating margin reviews for both new business and existing customers. 

Job Title: Analyst Pricing 

Shift Timings: 05:00/06:00 PM to 02:00/03:00 AM IST / Flexible with shift timings as per Business needs 

• Functional Requirement: 1) 2 - 3 years of working experience in Pricing/Excel/Reporting 
• 2) Strong command over communication (written and verbal) 
• 3) Team Player & Commitment towards role and responsibility; detail oriented 
• 4) Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree 
• Technical Skills: 1) Good analytical, Mathematical and computer skills 
• 2) Interpretation | Problem solving | Data Analysis 
• 3) Reporting analysis - Ability to pull data together and draw conclusions 

4) Should be proficient with Microsoft office suite ideally Advanced Excel Skills and Power BI would be added advantage 

5) Self-starter and results oriented 

6) Customer focus & Multitasking 

7) Ability to achieve common goals through synergy and collaboration, to be able to work independently to develop formulas with in excel and analyze data 

Academic Background:

Preferred: Bachelor of Computer/ master’s in finance (B.com/MBA/BSC/MSC)

Job Description

1) Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all the times 

2) Develop Pricing Models and provide market-based disposal pricing for HHW - RFBs, RFP, ITBs 

3) Attend bid calls hosted by the proposal team to discuss pricing and pricing strategies 

4) Create margin reviews for New & Existing business during bid phase 

5) Maintain company margin goals for HHW line of business 

6) Work with HHW (Household hazardous waste) National product line Leader and sales personnel to understand overall bid strategy 

7) Work with technical services district managers and branch managers to ensure their labor, equipment, material, and transportation pricing is provided in a reasonable time frame to complete margin reviews and complete bid pricing sheets 

8) Understand costs, market rates, market demand, and competitor pricing as it pertains to HHW line of business 9) Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the clean harbors business
