We’re seeking a future team member for the role Vice President, Compliance & Control Manager  to join our Financial Crimes Compliance team. This role is located in Wroclaw.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• You will be part of an agile team in an individual contributor role.
• Your responsibilities will include challenging assumptions, understanding needs, delivering solutions, and taking ownership.
• You will have the opportunity to influence the team, the program, or even BNY—it all depends on you—and you will have full support.
• Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) will be used, with the team deciding and adapting as needed.
• You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, including engineering, implementation, testing, and deployment on our private cloud.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  

• Good understanding of programming concepts and paradigms. Proficiency in Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to understand business problem
• Flexibility - team player that is not afraid of making independent decisions based on analysis and facts
• Ability to articulate complex technical problems in concise and clear manner
• Good understanding of TDD & testing frameworks e.g., Junit, Mockito
• Bonus: Knowledge of CI/CD, Groovy & Spock
