Associate, Back-End Engineer II

We are seeking a skilled Collibra Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Collibra platform development, along with hands-on experience in Python, Java, and ETL processes. You will play a key role in implementing and enhancing data governance solutions to support our enterprise data strategy.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Back-End Engineer II to join our Data Solutions and Services team. This role is located in Chennai

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Design, develop, and maintain Collibra workflows, integrations, and customizations.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow and quality.
• Utilize Python and Java to build automation scripts, connectors, and extensions for Collibra.
• Collaborate with data stewards, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Collibra platform and integrations.
• Support data governance initiatives by enabling data cataloging, lineage, and policy enforcement.
• Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Collibra Developer or in a similar data governance role.
• Proficiency in Collibra platform development and administration.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes 
• Solid understanding of data governance concepts and frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
