Patient Services Specialist

This position is responsible and accountable for the coordination of patient care as they come in from a referring medical office through scheduling and registering for their services at the Issaquah Highlands facility.  This position performs a variety of front office clerical and pre-business services within the hospital setting.  Primary responsibilities include customer service, patient registration, and patient scheduling activities.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 months recent receptionist or front desk experience in a health care field
• Experience with medical terminology and basic medical record processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with computerized scheduling or relational databases

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
