As an Analyst / Associate in the Payments Sales Support team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Payments Sales Managers across APAC to manage client relationships and drive sales. This encompasses client and market intelligence for new and existing clients along with supporting the sales team's various requirements, such as managing pipeline report, preparing marketing materials and support portfolio management. This position also provides an excellent opportunity to obtain banking experience interacting with corporate bankers, product, client service, implementation and other functions. You will be closely working with the wider team of Payments Corporate Sales team and will interact, learn and develop with them. The position is based in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilitiessales And Deal Support:

  • Assist the Sales team with sales pitch materials, RFP/RFI submissions, and preparation of proposals for internal approvals. Build and understand pricing and profitability models.
  • Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients. Prepare client research, industry analysis, and provide fundamental research on market sizing by region.
  • Review and analyze transactional data to identify key trends, risks, and pricing/billing inefficiencies.
  • Prepare client account plans, briefing memos, and portfolio management reports. Take ownership of business and control processes relevant to client administration and reporting needs.
  • Work closely with a global network of corporate bankers and Payments colleagues to support business activities.
  • Stay informed about regional developments, including regulatory changes, political background, and market trends. 

Client/Market Intelligence

  • Analyze key revenue, pipeline data in order to deliver reports to senior management
  • Partner internal teams in their client account planning process
  • Keeping abreast of ongoing developments in the areas impacting clients based in India, such as regulatory developments, political background or market trends in the industry
  • Developing deep knowledge of Payments products & JPMorgan key value propositions in order prepare customized pitch materials which suit client requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions.
  • Goal-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to foster innovation and solve problems creatively.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure follow-up coordination.
  • Able to operate in a matrix environment, working closely with other teams to achieve business goals. Able to collaborate across the Bank with other teams including Product, Service, Operations & Compliance partners
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources effectively.
  • Results oriented. Able to work under pressure within tight timeframes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
 

  • Cash management experience preferred
