Compensation Data Solutions is responsible for analytics & insights, process improvement and automation at scale, as well as analyzing data to provide key insights to senior leadership. This role will focus on overseeing end-to-end development and delivery of compensation reporting and solutions to users across Human Resources and direct to managers at the firm. The end-to-end process includes gathering business requirements across all lines of business, driving Firmwide consistency while meeting client needs, and finally implementing for users.  

As a Compensation & Analytics Insights Executive Director, you will work to establish and lead a team, based in India, that supports the global Compensation Data Solutions initiatives including, but not limited to enhancing the function’s reporting and analytics capabilities through design, development and delivery of key compensation reports and solutions for our stakeholders and users.  

Job Responsibilities

The Compensation Analytics & Insights Lead role will perform a variety of complex compensation and data solutions activities which include:

  • Embed generative AI solutions and tools to streamline routine / BAU processes.
  • Develop and implement dashboards at scale that enable stakeholders to quickly understand key insights, trends, and underlying drivers 
  • Lead efforts to simplify, standardize, and automate processes by developing and deploying workflows for scalable and automated solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with control functions and regulatory requirements while managing workforce and compensation-related tasks.
  • Supervise the management of multiple projects from inception to completion, including maintaining project plans, updating and influencing key stakeholders, and implementing change management strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across various functions and teams, including compensation managers, HR partners, Workforce Analytics, product, technology, and control functions
  • Guide the process of capturing and translating business requirements into tailored analytical solutions, ensuring effective communication of insights through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail and rigor in data analytics and facilitate the articulation of complex issues in an easily understandable manner.
  • Oversee the execution of ad-hoc analytics and presentations to assist senior management in making strategic business decisions related to compensation differentiation.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • 10+ years relative compensation and/or finance experience with strong analytical mathematical and data/information management skills   
  • Detail and results oriented with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities all within a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to execute and sustain operational excellence with risk and control mindset and to work collaboratively and cultivate strong partnerships with HR partners business clients and colleagues    
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications, advanced Excel skills required; Business Objects and Web intelligence / Desktop Intelligence skills preferred.  
  • Strong consulting, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, build relationships at all levels and across global teams
  • Strong project management, analytical, and technical skills, with proven ability to drive solutions through effective analysis planning, reporting, and escalation.
  • Experience in leading projects and cross-functional programs with interdependencies, ensuring robust governance and successful outcomes.
