Your mission: Drive change 🎯

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management for the Cyprus entity, statutory compliance, accounting policies, and internal controls. The role requires a commercially minded finance leader who can operate in a dynamic SaaS environment, working closely with the other local finance teams as well as multiple stakeholders from other departments.

How you’ll shape success 🏆

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

• Own preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Lead the month-end close process across subsidiaries to deliver accurate and timely reporting within a 5 day-close cycle.
• Maintain bookkeeping and all supporting reconciliation and files.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and ensure consistent application across all entities.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance for Cyprus subsidiaries.
• Manage payroll processes using external payroll providers
• Coordinate with local team members, tax advisors, and auditors in each jurisdiction.
• Maintain relationships with vendors ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure statutory filings and audits are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with local tax laws, indirect taxes (VAT), and US parent reporting requirements.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Enhance financial systems, processes, and automation.
• Partner with FP&A to improve forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis processes.
• Thrive in a data-driven environment, leveraging analytics to drive financial performance and organizational growth.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key finance contact for other departmental queries.
• Support other local business areas and other local Finance teams as required.

What makes you the perfect fit 🤝

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification experience, ideally in SaaS / technology / multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and intercompany structures.
• Hands-on systems experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with both US and international stakeholders.
• Leadership experience with distributed teams.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• A background in tech and high-growth businesses, with an ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and doing more with less.
