Kepler Interactive is a collective of creatives working together to bring bold, beautiful ideas and experiences to life. We believe in empowering creativity, championing diverse voices, and shaping what’s next in interactive entertainment. To hear more about who we are, check out our CEO Alexis’ article in GI.Biz.

Creativity is at the core of everything we do, it’s the backbone of how we work. We back artistic vision, push boundaries, and believe in doing things differently.

There is space for everyone to have a voice at Kepler, and we expect you to as well. Diversity in thought is where creativity flourishes, and we encourage different people to contribute to conversations they might not normally be involved in. You’ll need to be comfortable pushing yourself to try new things, taking on different responsibilities, challenging others and being challenged, as this is where growth really happens.

  • At least 2 years’ previous paralegal or contract manager experience. In-house media experience would be helpful
  • You don’t need to have worked in the games industry, but we’d like to see that you have an understanding of the roles of platforms (e.g. Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), publishers (e.g. us) and developers (e.g. the studios we work with). And a genuine interest, desire and passion to work in the games industry is a big plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to prioritise and balance multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain complex legal concepts in simple terms to non-legal colleagues and partners
  • Your values align with ours

What can you expect during the Interview Process:

For the Paralegal role, there will be an initial screening call with Jess Pearce, People Partner, then we plan to have 2 stages of interviews, below we have outlined what you can expect from, each:

Stage 1: Technical Interview with Archi Campbell, Director of Legal and Amy Hughes, Legal Manager – We’ll dive into your experience a bit more, and also give you some hypothetical problems to see how you deal with them

Stage 2: Values interview (see values above). Our values inform how we work day to day, and are the behaviours we hold people to. In this interview you will meet with 2 people from the business, outside of your team, where we’ll explore values alignment.

Please be aware that there may be some slight changes to the interview teams and order of interviews depending on availability; we will give you full details with ample time ahead of each conversation.
