About The Role

As part of the Abion team, you’ll collaborate with our international network of IP professionals, working on a diverse portfolio of cases and clients. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and delivering exceptional legal services.

The role of a Paralegal includes both administrative and legal work, primarily in the field of intellectual property. You will support attorneys, clients, and internal teams through research, documentation, case management, and communication — ensuring smooth and accurate handling of legal matters.

This role is open to candidates already living and working in IP in the region, and to anyone looking to relocate to Dubai for a new challenge. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare clear summaries for attorneys- Draft, file, and manage legal and IP-related documents, including trademark applications.
• Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate case files in internal systems.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, local agents, and authorities.
• Support billing and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in client meetings together with attorneys and other teams.
• Contribute to improving internal routines and workflows.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and IP industry trends to support clients effectively.

What We'Re Looking For

• Strong interest in intellectual property (IP enthusiast).
• Excellent knowledge of legal and business English (Arabic languages are a plus).
• Formal qualification from a paralegal training programme.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
• High attention to detail, structure, and accuracy.
• Tech-savvy with strong skills in word processing, data management, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
• A collaborative, humble, and motivated team player.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets.
