Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily hotel operations (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Engineering).
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Drive guest satisfaction and consistently deliver the unique Moxy experience.

Financial & Commercial Performance

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Optimize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR through effective revenue management strategies.
  • Monitor costs and implement measures to improve efficiency and profitability.

People Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, creating a culture that embodies Moxy’s playful and bold spirit.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent while ensuring high levels of employee engagement.
  • Drive performance management, coaching, and succession planning.

Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to position Moxy Athens as a vibrant social hub.
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, media, and community stakeholders.
  • Leverage social media and lifestyle-driven marketing to attract both travelers and locals.

Brand & Guest Experience

  • Bring the Moxy brand to life through innovative programming, lobby activations, and memorable guest touchpoints.
  • Monitor guest feedback and online reputation, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure service delivery reflects the fun, stylish, and approachable DNA of Moxy.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a General Manager or senior leadership role in lifestyle or branded hotels.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and delivering results.
  • Hands-on leadership style with excellent people management skills.
  • Passion for lifestyle hospitality, guest engagement, and creative brand experiences.
  • Fluency in English; Greek is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Marriott systems and standards preferred.
  • Bold, energetic, and approachable leader.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to inspire and engage both guests and teams.
  • Commercially minded with a flair for creativity.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solution oriented.
