Placement Student- Transportation Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic Transportation Analyst Placement Student to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment in UK, Sandwich. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! 

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

• Involvement and support in all Major Global and Cross Business Unit projects, ensuring data integrity of all reports, understanding and developing reporting capabilities for supply chain KPIs.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to analyse and interpret KPIs in order to identify areas for improvement and action plans, measuring carrier performance through the use of KPIs and assessment scorecards.
• Development of Supply Chain Analytics to make operational performance and trends visible.
• Utilizing existing business systems to provide analytics and reporting that are capable and repeatable.
• Financial reporting and tracking of spend and project savings.
• Development of supply chain models for scenario analysis.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Supply Chain, Logistics or Data/Statistics related area. 
• Strong skills with Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint are required, knowledge of Power BI would also be advantageous although not essential.
• Ability to interpret data, innovating to solve problems.
• Good team player and able to manage workload effectively.
