Senior ICT Project Manager

Quento Technologies, the ICT services arm of QUALCO Group, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior ICT Project Manager to lead ICT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the execution of projects;
• Facilitate the governance through organization of regular project meetings, checkpoints and boards of assigned projects, keep stakeholders informed with up-to-date information at all times and facilitating appropriate decision making;
• Coordinate the different project work streams and managing dependencies;
• Ensure that all relevant project management documentation, including a realistic plan agreed among all stakeholders and recorded in the project management system at any given time;
• Assist in the production of project management deliverables;
• Coordinate the production and approval of project deliverables at the specified quality level and in accordance with the project implementation plan;
• Follow the required change and approval processes with the governance bodies, including the security accreditation process when applicable;
• Identify and proactively addressing all dependencies, issues and risks affecting the project;
• Keep overview of the project budget and resources available to the project and undertaking the necessary steps to correct deviations through project resource management processes, this includes provision of timely and up-to-date reporting;
• Assist Senior ICT Development Officer in portfolio management and related governance;
• Provide methodology advice and contribute to process development and related training;
• Manage development and infrastructure initiatives provided by pool of external resources contracted by the organization;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties comply fully with regulatory requirements, including the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, or related field;
• Extensive professional experience in IT sector;
• Good professional experience in Project Management of computer software construction along with practical hands-on experience with most stages of the system development life-cycle;
• Knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML/CSS, JSON, XML);
• Strong technical skills and thorough understanding of software development processes and technologies;
• Risk management and technical documentation skills;
• Stakeholder management and budget management skills;
• One from the following certificates: Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional SCRUM, Master, Certified Scrum Master, PRINCE 2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PM² Essential) Project Management certification, is required;
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
