As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Advieh, you will be the face of the restaurant and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dining and beverage services. Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will rotate through different areas of service and lead by example to deliver memorable experiences.

Explore your journey ahead

• Guest Service – Warmly greet, seat and engage with guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Reservations & Flow – Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest experience and maintain an efficient restaurant flow.
• Operations – Oversee daily service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-room dining, stepping in wherever needed to keep service smooth.
• Hands-On Support – Lead by example during peak times – whether it’s shaking cocktails, preparing coffee or assisting on the floor.
• Team Development – Supervise and support the training of Food & Beverage colleagues, fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Collaboration – Work closely with culinary, bar, and front-of-house teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Guest Recovery – Proactively address guest concerns with professionalism and care, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Standards & Compliance – Maintain strict health &safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment at all times.
• Responsible Business – Support sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction and energy conservation, contributing to IHG’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

What we expect from you

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a high-end food and beverage setting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations; barista and mixology experience highly regarded.
• Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to inspire and coach your team to deliver personalised service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid New Zealand working rights.
