Join our Strategic Alliance Sales Team!
Our team is responsible for growth and success of the Presidio and Akamai Strategic Alliance. This is a high growth team with high visibility. Working with Presidio, this team markets, evangelizes, enables, and sells Akamai products into Fortune 500 customers.
Partner with the best
You will work in partnership with account teams to sell Akamai products. You'll execute plans for success, pipeline new and existing accounts, business development, strategic selling, marketing and enablement.
As a Partner Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Building and executing the plan for high revenue growth
- Identifying, developing, and closing business at new and existing customers
- Establishing relationships with partner teams in the field and executive levels
- Creating alignment with partners and Akamai's field teams
- Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy
- Becoming a subject matter expert on Akamai
- Delivering joint value proposition through in-person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, trainings, and other events
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with partners and customers
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
- Have ability to travel to partner meetings and events as needed
- Demonstrate proven successful sales track record and quota achievement
- Have experience with channels sales management in Cybersecurity
- Have business development or sales experience with Presidio
- Possess excellent negotiation, solution-selling, presentation, verbal and written skills

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $157,900 - $328,100/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
