- Experience in Trust and Safety, Cybersecurity, Law Enforcement, National Security, Financial Intelligence, or Risk Management
- Understanding of Gen AI tools, and AI content safety, security risks and user harm.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, constantly changing priorities and working self-sustainably.
- Excellent organizational and process management skills to effectively prioritize and manage a high volume of intelligence and cross-functional (xFN) requests.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex information in a clear and concise manner with executive and executive management.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. The Strategic Collection lead is responsible for directing the full life-cycle of intelligence (Intel) collection, serving as the primary subject matter expert on all internal collection workflows. A core function of the role is to partner with internal and cross-functional (xFN) stakeholders to translate their requirements into precise, actionable collection plans, ensuring the strategic leveraging of the best-suited methods. This includes maintaining organized and process-oriented operations to effectively prioritize and manage intelligence and cross-functional (xFN) requests. In this role you will co-own all third-party (3P) vendor relationships, defining external intelligence requirements and maintaining rigorous oversight of all deliverables. Furthermore, this role drives the development of new collection programs from inception through delivery, often requiring novel dissemination methods for existing and new stakeholders. Success requires leading strategic integration and partnerships across Collection, Analysis, and Investigations teams to ensure effective, timely intelligence delivery across the organization.At Google we work hard to earn our users’ trust every day. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead the end-to-end intelligence collection life-cycle: requirement definition and source identification, processing, and dissemination.
- Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics or content.
- Manage T&S Intelligence comprehensive, global collection strategy, leveraging the best-suited methods, aligning collection methodologies with information needs.
- Establish and maintain Collections Requirements based on gaps identified by T&S Intel, cross-functional partners, and executive leadership, ensuring alignment between collection efforts and Google's most critical safety and policy priorities. Own the end-to-end relationship with external vendors and third-party partners. Define clear intelligence requirements, manage contracts, and ensure rigorous oversight of all deliverables and compliance.
- Oversee and direct a portfolio of strategic collection projects, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and quality control of collected data and information.
