Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford’s industry leadership. When you join us, you’ll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution.

In This Position...

The Ford Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team owns the forecasting, budgeting, and business planning processes enabling the executive team to understand and improve the financial health of the company and navigate uncertain times.  We are a trusted business partner with work spanning across every region, segment, and skill team to help the Company meet its short and long-term targets.

You will join the Corporate FP&A on the eve of its multi-year journey to modernize the way we work and interact with our business partners by leveraging the next generation of forecasting tools and streamlined processes.

You will work closely with the Director and Executive Director of FP&A to review global processes, identify opportunities, and implement both short and long-term solutions. The goal is for you to provide a fresh-eye, inquisitive, fail-fast mindset to identify where we can implement new tools and streamline our work.  You will also partner with existing team members to help them implement modernized solutions of their own to improve the way they work.

What You'Ll Do...

  • Understand and document the end-to-end forecasting process and key supporting systems to identify synergies, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop minimally viable products (MVPs) to test / pilot new technologies and new ways of doing our work (including driver-based forecasting) and partner with other teams to scale these new solutions as appropriate
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the rest of the global FP&A team as we adopt new tools and software to level-up the entire organization
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in FP&A, applying this knowledge to our processes

You'Ll Have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a closely related field
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, demonstrating a comprehensive "full-scope" financial background
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and think outside the box for innovative solutions; a continuous improvement mentality
  • Motivated and energized by self-driven, project-based work to progress towards a long-term vision
  • Ability to tackle unstructured, white-space projects autonomously
  • Proven track record and hands-on experience in identifying, developing, or leveraging modern analytics or visualization tools, like Power Platform, Alteryx, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and keen business acumen
  • A high degree of inquisitiveness to learn new information, balanced with professional skepticism

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
