Your role and responsibilities
You Will:
- be an integral member of our small team, also working closely with partners to quality assure and improve the quality of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans in Suffolk
- utilise your knowledge of SEND and EHC plans, as well as your keen attention to detail, to complete audits of plans, other relevant documentation, and wider processes
- be responsible for collating, manipulating and analysing quality assurance data, to support key stakeholders in understanding areas of strength to build on and areas for improvement
- help to develop recommendations for improving quality and monitor the effectiveness of these.
You Will Need:
- A passion for making a difference to the lives of children and young people with SEND and their families.
- In-depth knowledge about the key requirements of the SEND Code of Practice for EHC plans, as well as an understanding of what ‘good’ looks like in Suffolk.
- Experience in quality assurance
- Strong data manipulation and analytical skills
Report-Writing Experience
- Willingness to learn and grow is valued, even if you don't have all the technical expertise yet.

The Team
- The SEND Progress and Quality Assurance Team are focused on driving improvements in the quality of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans in Suffolk, the processes that surround this, and the lived experience of children and young people with SEND and their families.
- We are at an exciting point in our journey, embarking on an even more integrated and collaborative approach to quality assurance with our key stakeholders in Education, Inclusion, Health and Social Care.
- We are a small, supportive team who work closely together, practicing hybrid working with flexible days in the office.
