Full Time

The Department of Health Technology (DTU Health Tech) at the Technical University of Denmark is looking for an experienced research coordinator to coordinate a Clinical Academic Group on Digital Phenotyping. If you would like to excel in managing interdisciplinary research projects cutting across the technical, biomedical, and clinical sciences, this position offers ample opportunities for gaining a strong network and experience in research management.

The job
The Clinical Academic Group on Digital Phenotyping (CAG-DIGITAL) is a large interdisciplinary research network in the greater Copenhagen area, which cuts across the University of Copenhagen, the University Hospitals in Copenhagen and Zealand, and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and involves researchers, practitioners, and clinicians with a wide span of background in the technical, clinical and biomedical sciences. The focus of CAG-DIGITAL is to bring these people together to design, build, and evaluate mobile and wearable sensing technology for ambulatory and home-based diagnosis and treatment. The CAG has an ambitious goal of establishing a physical testbed for such technologies, which would require substantial additional funding to be secured for the CAG.

As a research coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the CAG network across the academic, technical, and clinical disciplines and helping the CAG become successful and visible nationally and internationally. This includes project management, communication and dissemination, and fundraising. Prior work experience in research management is required.

You are expected to work closely with the researchers, including technical researchers at DTU and clinical researchers at the University of Copenhagen and the different hospitals in the Capital Region (Region Hovedstaden - RH) and Region Zealand (Region Sjælland - RSJ). You will also work directly with patients and relatives while designing or deploying the technology. Hence, travel within the RH and RSJ regions is expected.

Our expectations of you
You must have a master’s degree in science, engineering, biomedical, public health, or a similar educational background at the master's level.

Your research management skills include some of the following areas:

  • Experience in project management in interdisciplinary settings.
  • Experience in network management and motivation of participants with heterogeneous backgrounds
  • In-depth knowledge of the Danish healthcare system
  • Strong communication and dissemination skills, both orally and in writing
  • Mastering both Danish and English in speech and writing
  • Experience with fundraising for research projects, both nationally and in the EU
  • Experience in seeking ethical approvals for clinical research projects at the Danish Ethics Committee.

We seek a person who works structured, diligently, constructively, and independently toward achieving tangible goals while being part of the overall CAG management team.

Due to travel, you must have a driver's license.

What we offer in return
We offer a challenging and exciting job that will significantly expand your professional network and train you in advanced research management in a challenging network setup. You will work with cutting-edge health technology research in an international academic community and atmosphere, focusing on research and innovation to benefit society. DTU HealthTech is a very flexible and exciting workplace, and DTU offers many options for continued education and career development.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).

The job is part-time, 22 hours / 3 days per week.

The period of employment is 3 years. The starting date is 1 December 2025, or according to mutual agreement.

Your workplace will be at DTU Lyngby Campus.
