About The Role:

The Project Manager, Product Strategy in WW Supply Chain will work cross-functionally to guide, support and lead project team members on product related projects. 

The person selected for this role will be responsible to coordinate front-end efforts aligning on product requirements before hand-off to the Project Managers for regional activation. The main deliverable is a clearly defined product concept. Products evaluated for launch may include new product launches, reformulations of existing products, new packaging changes, and movement of existing products between suppliers.  These product concepts may have a predetermined timeframe for launch. 

In This Role You Will:

  • Primary partner for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Eurasian Markets front-end team members creating the long-term product pipeline, portfolio management, and new country openings.
  • Drive conversion of Ideas into Regional Product Feasibility Requests (PFRs) for immediate launch.
  • Manage product Ideas and PFR activities related to development of business cases. Includes close support of Science and Product Marketing in this phase.
  • Lead PFRs with diverse cross-functional teams towards key product initiatives including: strategy, ideation, capacity analysis, product requirement definition, and hand-off to regional analysts.
  • Build rapport and gain commitment from key cross-functional global team members to ensure concepts move forward into regional PFRs
  • Manage 3 key areas for the regions: Renegade- the budget and capacity for all projects, including supporting with headcount analysis and prioritization. Octopus- product lifecycle and discontinuation. Greenlight- front end review of all proposed product plans with executive council. 
  • Work across different product lifecycles to better manage the long-term calendar plans, such as SKU discontinuations and prioritizing Maintenance Non-Essentials. 
  • Organize and lead cross-functional global calls and adhoc meetings related to projects
  • Prepare and distribute consistent reporting documents for cross-functional team and management
  • Develop an excellent understanding of the process and exhibit flexibility within the business process
  • Refine planning tool and implement consistency in modeling plans for PFR planning and reporting tools across regions
  • Lead process improvement ideas per region-specific needs. This includes sharing best-practices across regions. 
  • Participate in more strategic meetings internally and externally to guide strategy for calendar planning.
  • Support department Director with adhoc projects

Our Requirements:

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with large teams in a leadership role
  • Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workload for effective implementation under general supervision
  • Team player able to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversitAbility to adapt as the external environment and as organization evolves
  • Lead process discussions and drive change
  • Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, MS Word, and Excel

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in managing projects 
  • Experience leading projects with global teams
  • Capacity management and resource evaluation experience

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile Product Lifecycle Management environment
  • Experience in MLM industry
  • Supervisory skills
  • Bilingual skills
