Custodial Project Team Lead - 527647

Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $18.32 - Midpoint: $21.97 (Hourly N4)

Department/Organization: 504107 - Facility Custodial

Normal Work Schedule: Varies; Monday - Friday 4:00am to 12:30pm, 7:00am to 3:30pm, 3:30pm to 12:00am; some overtime as required.

Job Summary: The Custodial Project Team Lead provides guidance and trains Custodial Project Workers. Identifies supplies and equipment required to complete various types of assigned projects. Provides instruction for and performs related cleaning responsibilities where needed. Participates in planning projects. Ensures quality service from teams on tasks and final product.

Additional Department Summary: Must drive from site to site. Must work overtime as scheduled.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of custodial experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.

Skills and Knowledge: Ability to perform all general cleaning duties. Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Good time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience on similar crew (i.e., floor team) responsible for maintaining floor (hard/soft) surfaces. Some supervisory/work leadership experience.
