Logistics Coordinator

Description

Kalos is looking for a Logistics Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and keeps operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be responsible for routing drivers, staging jobsite kits, maintaining accurate asset tracking, and ensuring materials move in and out of the warehouse efficiently.

This position also plays a critical role in managing the warehouse directly—including packing, shipping, labeling, organizing inventory, and doing the physical, hands-on work required to keep things moving. It’s a labor-intensive role, not just an administrative oversight position, so the right person will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and leading by example on the warehouse floor.

Location:  Clermont, FL Full-time 

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday - Friday (Occasional early/late pickups and rare weekend support during project pushes) 

Compensation: $25 - $28

Responsibilities

• Monitor G-Chat spaces and respond quickly to logistical requests
• Plot efficient routes and dispatch drivers; adjust routes on the fly for will-calls or hot shots
• Maintain steady comms with drivers and warehouse staff; keep work on schedule and documented
• Coordinate with vendors for material identification, purchase, will-call, and specialized jobsite services
• Oversee the commercial warehouse; control inbound receiving, staging, loading, and outbound deliveries
• Pick, pack, label, and stage jobsite kits by project; verify counts and paperwork before load-out
• Use the asset tracker to check tools and equipment in/out; flag missing items and follow up
• Track inventory levels; perform cycle counts; place restock orders to maintain PAR levels
• Handle returns and RMAs; keep shelves, cages, and yard organized using basic 5S habits
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet stackers safely; verify load securement and weight distribution
• Follow OSHA and Kalos safety protocols; keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and audit-ready

Requirements

• Solid logistics/warehouse experience with routing, staging, and inventory control
• Confident operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet stackers
• Comfortable driving large vehicles up to a 26' box truck (no CDL required)
• Strong organizer; able to multitask and prioritize under pressure without cutting corners
• Google Workspace skills (Chat, Drive, Sheets); quick with maps and basic dispatch tools
• Clear communicator; steady with vendors, drivers, and field teams
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb, and work in a warehouse environment (heat, noise, dust) with or without an accommodation
• Clean driving record; background check and drug-free workplace compliance required (Kalos uses E-Verify) (Kalos Services)

License/Certification

• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
• DOT medical card a plus

Work Location

• Primary: Clermont commercial warehouse; occasional trips to jobsites across Central Florida
