This position can be based out of Marshall+Sterling's Poughkeepsie Office.
The Assistant People Operations Partner will support the day- to- day people operations, employee experience and administration, while helping to drive engagement and organizational growth. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations; performance, and compensation management; and talent management.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Support key stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal changes.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure compliance with policies and labor laws.
- Assist with payroll, benefits, compensation, and other HR systems as needed.
- Contribute to performance management, benefits enrollment, and other annual HR programs.
- Partner with managers to support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance while supporting HR projects and process improvements.
Requirements
Total Rewards Package:
- 5+ years of recruitment or related HR experience with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of HR databases, recruiting strategies, and labor laws; proficiency in Microsoft Office, with HireEZ and iHire experience a plus.
- Appropriate state insurance licenses and ongoing continuing education required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with colleagues, leadership, and external partners.
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000, based on experience, education, and work location.
