Job Title: Feed Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to oversee operations in our feed warehouse in Hartley IA. This role primarily focuses on inventory management and warehouse coordination, with additional responsibilities in the mill as time permits. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and experience in livestock feed handling, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely restocking of products.
• Operate forklifts to load and unload bagged ingredients.
• Assist customers with product pick-up, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Monitor and manage warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Apply strong math skills to ensure precise measurements and counts.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers during pickups and inquiries.
• Ensure the warehouse and mill areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Mill Support (As Needed):

• Assist in mixing feed according to established formulas.
• Support cleaning and maintenance tasks within the mill.
• Help with loading trucks for delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Experience with forklift operation and warehouse logistics.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Prior experience in livestock feed handling is strongly preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), if required for driving duties.
