IE University's Global Recruitment is looking for a Senior Manager to join its team!  The Senior Manager of Global Recruitment reports directly to the Global Recruitment Head. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the recruitment strategy for IE University’s Law, Politics, and International Affairs portfolio, including programmes such as the Master's in International Relations, Master's in International Development, and Bachelor of Laws. We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid, IE Tower. 

Responsibilities

Your role as Senior Manager will involve:
  • Sales: Mentor and assess candidates during their degree selection process by understanding their aspirations, profiles, and goals through various communication channels, including email, video conferences, and phone calls.Commercial: Develop and execute strategic actions (events, conferences, sessions, etc.) to meet recruitment objectives for the Law, Politics, and International Affairs portfolio at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Strategy: Generate reports on competitors, markets, careers, and geopolitical trends to maintain a coherent recruitment strategy throughout the academic year.
  • Strategy: Collaborate closely with the international recruitment team to address specific market needs for the portfolio.
  • Commercial: Plan and execute all recruitment actions in coordination with the marketing team to define channels, messaging, and impact.
  • Marketing: Plan and ideate content that reflects the key selling points of the IE Experience, particularly in the context of global affairs and legal education.
  • Sales: Monitor and project sales evolution using tools such as HubSpot, Power BI, and CRM platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with key recruitment stakeholders, including Financial Aid, Student Services, Careers, Campus Life, Alumni, and Admissions & Enrollment teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with academic counterparts to communicate the academic value proposition to prospective candidates effectively.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • 5+ years of previous work experience in sales, strategy, commercial, or business development, preferably in the education or public policy sector.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish as a second language or native is desirable.
  • Master’s or MBA alumni are preferable.
  • An academic background in law, international relations, political science, or public policy is preferred. 
  • European work permit is preferable.
  • Outstanding communication skills, strong teamwork capability, and a positive customer-oriented style.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • High level of comfort interacting with candidates from diverse international backgrounds.
  • Visionary problem solver and change agent.
  • Innovative, creative, and open to new approaches and technologies.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Flexible work scheduling, including occasional night and weekend work and domestic/international travel
