Position Description:
As we expand our footprint in the UK and EMEA region, FlexGen is seeking a proactive and versatile Marketing Generalist to support our global marketing initiatives while tailoring our messaging and campaigns to resonate with regional audiences. The Marketing Generalist will support a broad range of marketing activities, working cross-functionally with sales, product, and the US-based marketing teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced international environment, is comfortable wearing many hats, and is excited to contribute to both strategic and hands-on marketing execution. Major Job Responsibilities:
Content & Communications
- Localize and adapt US-based content for UK and EMEA markets
- Create and edit marketing collateral (brochures, one-pagers, case studies, blog posts, email copy)
- Coordinate with freelance or in-house designers and copywriters as needed
Campaigns & Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute regional demand generation campaigns across email, social, PPC, and webinars
- Support product launches, ensuring UK messaging aligns with global positioning
- Manage UK-specific web pages and support SEO, PPC, and social media
- Track and report performance metrics (Google Analytics, HubSpot)
Events & Partnerships
- Support planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and regional industry events
- Manage logistics (vendors, venues, shipping, staffing, follow-up campaigns) in partnership with global teams
- Represent FlexGen onsite to ensure smooth execution
- Build relationships with industry associations, media outlets, and partners
- Collect post-event feedback and manage lead follow-up
Market Insights
- Research industry trends, competitors, and customer needs in the UK and EMEA region
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to inform strategy
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in event planning or coordination, particularly in field or offsite events
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite), Monday, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or Google Workspace
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to travel and support events; comfortable working evenings/weekends when required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- This is a full-time position requiring both office and onsite work
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in field marketing or large-scale events
- Project management certification (PMP or similar)
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting
- Familiarity with social media marketing and event promotion
