About The Role
Plenful is transforming healthcare’s neglected back office, where care gets authorized, reimbursed, and coordinated, into an era of AI-powered speed and precision. Our agentic operating system helps major health systems, pharmacies, and infusion practices streamline the paperwork chaos that slows down critical patient care (by more than 75%).
We’re hiring a Senior Event Marketing Manager to own and scale the events channel, already our most effective driver of pipeline and thought leadership. You’ll shape and execute a world-class event strategy across industry conferences, webinars, and owned community programs, ensuring Plenful shows up with credibility, polish, and impact. From flagship conferences like Becker’s and 340B Coalition, to intimate customer forums and virtual discussions, you’ll transform events into engines of education, engagement, and growth.
This role reports to our Head of Marketing. You’ll be an owner from day one, managing a $1M+ events budget, driving measurable pipeline outcomes, and laying the foundation for community programming, advisory boards, and customer events that will define Plenful’s next stage of growth.
What You'Ll Do
- Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Plenful’s event program, across third-party live conferences, webinars, and owned community forums.
- Manage a +$1M event marketing budget with clear accountability to MQL and SQO targets. Own event partner vetting, sponsorship contracting, and negotiations.
- Partner with Marketing leadership to shape event narratives, secure speaking engagements, liaise with customer champions, and produce thought leadership content.
- Expand beyond third-party sponsorships into owned programming, including customer advisory boards and community initiatives.
- Drive pre- and post-event lead nurture workflows in partnership with our BDR and Sales Ops teams to maximize pipeline impact from every program.
- Oversee fulfillment of miscellaneous added-value sponsorship deliverables, collaborating across marketing to execute.
- Support internal event planning and execution, including our annual company offsite.
What We'Re Looking For
- 3 years in B2B event- or field-marketing specific roles, with a combined 5-10 years of marketing or sales experience. B2B healthcare experience strongly preferred. Experience executing against an active event calendar with 2-5+ events/month.
- Familiarity with healthcare conference circuits (e.g., Becker’s, ASHP, HLTH) and comfort navigating both large flagship events, intimate roundtables, and regional programming.
- Hyper-organized, detail-oriented, and decisive. You thrive in dynamic environments and know how to maintain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with marketing in complex, regulated industries, with proven creative examples that have broken through the noise.
- A collaborative team player who finds motivation in supporting team goals/wins and ensuring the company shines on every stage.
- Willingness to travel frequently (“road warrior”) and represent Plenful with energy, poise, and professionalism.
- Proficient with AI tools and modern event technology to amplify planning, measurement, and execution. Capable of creating event-specific graphics from design templates in Canva.
- Excellent project management and communication skills; can guide complex events from concept to production with limited oversight and ease of internal collaboration. Not afraid to wrangle cats across leadership and GTM teams.
- Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and a bias toward measurable impact.
Plenful Perks
- Great benefits include unlimited PTO, health insurance, meal stipend, health & wellness stipend, team offsites, 401K matching, and stock options
- Join an all-star team with direct access to executive leadership
- Opportunities to further develop and refine your business acumen by partnering with our seasoned leaders
