As a Data Wrangler in our Insights & Intelligence team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the way we collect, structure, and leverage data to deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers and communities.

• Role Type: 18 Months
• Role Location: Auckland
• Work Hours: 37.5 hours

Ka Aha Tō Rā E Kite Ai - What Will Your Day Look Like

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and business stakeholders to source and prepare data for analysis and modelling. 
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and wrangling frameworks using SQL, Python, and cloud-native tools. 
• Ensure data quality, integrity and governance standards are upheld across all datasets. 
• Translate complex data structures into usable formats for reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics. 
• Contribute to a culture of curiosity, experimentation and continuous improvement. 

ŌU PūKenga - What Will You Bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Proven experience in data wrangling, data engineering or analytics roles. 
• Many years' experience in a data role 
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and SAS; experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. 
• Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and version control tools (e.g., Git). 
• A knack for problem-solving and a passion for turning raw data into valuable insight. 
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. 
• Experience with financial services would be useful
