Summary

Intern/Aide will receive training in health communication theories and research approaches. This includes training in experimental design, protocol execution, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation. 

Job Duties

  • Designs well-formulated hypothesis.
  • Learns key research protocols.
  • Learns how to recruit participants to co-create print ads/videos on health promotion.
  • Learns how to analyze graph and present health communication data.
  • Works with print ad and video companies to produce marketing materials and public service announcements (PSA).
  • Works on getting in practical experience in health communications research, recruiting participants, and analyzing, writing and presenting health communication research.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree.
  • Current enrollment in a graduate program for health communications or digital medial/film.
  • Limited (< 1 year) experience with health communications research.
  • Has english fluency.
