Nights shift Trainer Monday - Thursday 6PM-4:30AM
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Delivers training across the departments, gathers feedback, and processes evaluations, based on established training program.
- Supports and coaches’ one-on-one trainings to support team members’ development, as coordinated by the Training & Safety Manager.
- Support the maintenance of department-specific documentation for SOPs, JIBs, and training procedures; follow schedule for new items and support plans to resolve items out of compliance.
- Report and/or request needs for the program directly to the Training & Safety Manager related to equipment, supplies, and materials for components of training.
- Acclimate new hires to the business and process flow.
- Create a positive learning environment, establish credibility as a trainer, encourage participation, and deliver constructive feedback to team members.
- Interacts with Trainees in a manner that ensures their onboarding and training experience is positive by continuously receiving/providing feedback.
- Creates e-learning courses using Storyline.
- Partner with new hires during onboarding and continue following up.
Path For Success:
- Degree/Certificate in Teaching, Instruction Design, Training (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Food manufacturing experience; preferred.
- Experience with training or institutional design preferred.
- Proficiency with basic technology to deliver training and evaluations (Microsoft Word/Sharepoint/Outlook/Teams/PowerPoint programs, Alchemy (or other LMS), ERP systems etc.)
- Experience leading by example to support an environment of diversity and respect at all levels of an organization.
- The ability to communicate and understand verbal directions effectively and efficiently in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in e-learning development using Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, or equivalent software preferred.
- Presentation, organizational, and time management skills required, self-driven experience and aptitude.
- Proven team-focused attitude; experience with self-directed teams desirable
- Strong safety awareness: basic understanding of OSHA as it relates to manufacturing preferred.
Wage: $29.57-$30.91/hr + $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00AM
