Digital Solution Manager Purchasing & Travel – Automotive Business
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Solution Manager (DSM) to oversee our IT systems and applications related to Purchasing and Travel solutions, including SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, and Amex GBT Neo. The DSM will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of these systems, ensuring they are effectively designed, integrated, and governed to meet our business objectives. This role is critical in optimizing performance and resource allocation while adhering to established standards and governance.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to manage application lifecycles, implement enhancements, and support digital transformation initiatives in the Tax and Treasury domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture:Design and implement robust system architectures that align with business requirements and strategic objectives. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the solutions.
- Data Structure Analysis:Analyze and manage data structures to support business intelligence and reporting needs, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for informed decision-making.
- Integration Management:Oversee the integration of various systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability to enhance operational efficiency.
- Application Management:Manage the lifecycle of applications, including deployment, maintenance, and upgrades. Ensure applications meet user needs and organizational goals while collaborating with the infrastructure team on requirements.
- Process Analysis:Evaluate and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with stakeholders to design streamlined workflows.
- Governance & Compliance:Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, as well as organizational standards.
- Performance Management:Monitor system performance and user satisfaction metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance system functionality.
- Budget Control & Vendor Management:Manage budgets and resource allocation for IT systems, ensuring projects are adequately funded and aligned with strategic priorities. Control overall spend and work with vendors to optimize contracting and align roadmaps.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Purchasing, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Comprehensive analytical, communication, & problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of Solution Architecture, data management, integration strategies, and governance practices.
- Experience in performance management and budget oversight.
- Effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Purchasing and Travel solutions, particularly SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, and Amex GBT Neo, is highly desirable.
- Experience with ITIL-based support processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- 3+ years of experience supporting and developing applications
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience in project work or system implementation is a strong advantage.
